Mirror Dog productions is excited to present the launch of the production “Fair Chase,” our first film in Michigan.

To kick off the development of this romantic comedy/drama Mirror Dog is hosting a charity event to raise funds for the United Way of Southeastern Michigan. Your participation can help a charity that helps so many, and right here in our own backyard!

Michigan is Dreamin’ Big!

Mirror Dog Productions (MDP) is introducing Dreamin’ Big, an exciting Multi-Purpose Event held on Sunday, July 12, 2009 from 9:00am – 8:00pm in the heart of downtown Utica. The Event will gain local & national media attention and be large enough to lift the morale & spirit of Michiganders and highlight the Film Industry in Michigan. Dreamin’ Big is a Michigan stimulus Hollywood Block Party focused on promoting Michigan made products, businesses, charities, and to give employment opportunities for Michiganders who dream to break into Michigan’s Film Industry. Dreamin’ Big will also be the kick off to the National Dreamin’ Big Contest.

Dreamin’ Big’s celebrity-charity fundraiser and casting/crew call will help to raise much needed funds for United Way’s Basic Needs Program, which will give back to local Michigan communities to help families in need. A silent auction fundraiser will feature “Experience Michigan” packages and items for an “invitation only” Wine Tasting held at Hatchy’s Restaurant. The Event will also be host to recruit cast and crew members for MDP’s film “Fair Chase” to be shot here in Michigan. Michiganders are invited to bring a resume and headshot to submit for the casting and crew call for MDP’s upcoming film.

Michigan based companies will be contributing products and guest giveaways to the attendees throughout the day. Special “surprise” appearances are planned by celebrities and athletes from Los Angeles & Michigan and will be available throughout the day for autograph signings. The event will also be filmed for the purpose of future public service announcements supporting Michigan & Hollywood and may be used in MDP’s future films.     [View the Press Release]
